This three-point bull elk was just hanging out about 70 yards away during bow season. Too bad I only had a deer tag.

This was our first attempt to assault Diamond Peak.
However, we ended up camping out at Diamond View Lake before running into deep snow around 5000 feet. Better luck next year.
