New House

Finally, someone was here (during daylight hours) long enough to take a few pictures of the outside of our house.
Front.Back. If you look closely, you can see the mystery egg. It just showed up a few days ago right smack in the middle of our back yard. It's not broken, so it isn't likely that it was thrown there. Did a chicken land in our yard long enough to lay an egg? Did someone hop the fence into our back yard and set an egg down? What do you think?
Back.

A Few House Photos...

Dave wanted to wait until we got outdoor shots, but I have had too many requests to wait for those photos to be taken!
This is our front window

View from kitchen into living room

Front door, garage door, closet...we really like the architectural design of the ceiling/walls

View from front door into living room/formal dining area (which we will probably never use as a dining room). I envision a comfy chair and bookcase for a reading area. Dave envisions a ping pong/foosball area. We'll see how that works out...

View from living room into kitchen entryway
View of kitchen (not intended to be a Ruffles Ad...the chips are for New Years!)

Dining area in kitchen
Guest bathroom in hallway
Laundry nook...was a closet but the doors wouldn't close after the new washer and dryer were installed. We don't mind though. I love the front loading machines.
Dave's office. The desk takes up most of the room!
Guest room/Dave's closet/Future baby room
Just a shot of the ceiling/wall design. Also a peek into the master bathroom
My messy closet...great shelves though. It isn't meant to be a walk-in but I fit just fine!
We still need to add some decor to the walls.

That's our house so far. We will try to add those outside shots soon.

Run, run, as fast as you can..............

You can't catch me. I'm the gingerbread man! We decorated gingerbread (graham cracker) houses last night and it was a blast. Sweet accessories have been disappearing throughout the day today. Nobody has been caught yet, but there is some suggestive evidence. We have noted a strong correlation between Jack's favorite candy and the missing pieces.

Utah

We are visiting Utah and enjoying our time with Mary, Christian, Jack and Anna. Tonight we wandered around Temple Square.
Merry Christmas!

Pumpkin Patch...

Belated Birthday Post

We failed to take any photos on my birthday or at the family celebrations, so I thought I'd post a photo with my present from Dave. I have read 3 books on my Kindle so far and I am a huge fan!

Notellum River

Another report from the Notellum: 28 fish landed in 3 days with innumerable fish-ons and bobber-downs.

Fall Harvest

Mark and Dad used two bullets total last week. I guess that time at the range paid off. The free range cattle made driving slow at times. The snow made the hunting interesting. It seemed difficult to predict the deer behavior.

Deer Season

Mark and Dad drew tags this year so they have been faithfully preparing for the shot that will soon stop the heart of a trophy buck.
Mark and I set three targets at 200 yards - one for each of us. Dad knew which one was his as soon as he peered through the scope. He then proceeded to put three bullets through the same hole to prove he's still the top dog when it comes to hitting the bullseye!
